THE STITCHER’S JOURNAL 2021 EMBROIDERY KIT SUBSCRIPTION – OPTION TWO (NO THREADS) (EU)
NB. THIS IS FOR SUBSCRIBERS IN THE EUROPEAN UNION ONLY.
The Stitcher’s Journal 2021 subscription, Option TWO (NO THREADS):
You will receive:
- Quarterly embroidery kits (four, one each quarter) with original designs by Caroline Zoob. The designs are substantial, and fill areas between A5 and A4. The design will be printed on a generous piece of antique linen, and you will receive a full-colour thread card for you to load. Details of all the threads you need will be provided with the kit.
- A quarterly edition of The Stitcher’s Journal, a 60-page printed, advertisement-free publication devoted to the art of embroidery. The Stitcher’s Journal is currently available only to subscribers, but if we do have occasional overruns, each issue costs £15. For subscribers to Options 1 and 2, the Journal is effectively delivered ‘at cost’.
The subscription price includes packing and First Class postage each quarter to all areas of the EC..
EARLY BIRD DISCOUNT OF 10% for all Option 1 & 2 orders placed before 30 December. Please enter TSJ2021 at the checkout, making sure the subscription is the ONLY thing in your basket.
This option, OPTION TWO, does not include threads. Preparing threads and loading the printed thread cards represents a significant proportion of the cost of each quarterly kit. So if you have a good collection of threads, you may find it more economical to take this OPTION TWO, which comes with a printed thread card for you to load, and a comprehensive list of threads for the project, including DMC alternatives for any more expensive brands I occasionally use.
A little note about the price increase from 2020:
Any increase in price for 2021 is simply a reflection of the increased costs of production and postage, and we are all aware of the reasons for these: paper, postage costs, wages and materials have all increased in price of late, and I have not increased my prices for two years. At the time of writing, the effect of Brexit on postage is unclear. Even at this increased price, I believe that the subscription offers very good value for money. We use beautiful antique linen, the designs are carefully drawn and printed, and I endeavour to ensure that the instructions enable even a complete beginner to complete the kits, however extensive they maybe. And then there is the Journal…
“Another beautifully packaged kit…can’t wait to start.’
