An opportunity for a few non-subscribers to buy When May Follows, the embroidery kit which accompanied Issue No 6 of the Stitcher’s Journal. We have just a few cards left which we have now made up into kits, complete with thread card and threads.
The title is taken from a poem called Home Thoughts from Abroad by Robert Browning
…And after April, when May follows,
And the whitethroat builds, and all the swallows!
Hark, where my blossomed pear-tree in the hedge
Leans to the field and scatters on the clover
Blossoms and dewdrops—at the bent spray’s edge—

The image is just bigger than A5 portrait, and the kit contains beautifully produced, clear and comprehensive instructions. In the haberdashery section of the site you can download a PDF of my Favourite Stitches.
This kit is actually quite simple to stitch, and several beginners have tackled it with great success.
The price, which reflects the size of the image and number of threads in The Stitcher’s Journal Collection kits, includes postage and packing to all parts of the EU.
