DELIVERY
We are a very small business and all the packing and posting is done in-house. If you need something delivered in time for a particular date please put this information in the Order Notes box on the Checkout page.
We will always try to despatch orders on the next business day, when possible.
RETURNS
We hope you will be delighted with your purchases. If however you wish to return something please telephone or email us on receipt to let us know and return the item(s) to us in their original packaging within seven working days. We do not pay for returns postage unless the goods were faulty or broken. Please note this policy does not apply to embroidery kits or subscriptions to The Stitcher’s Journal for which we do not offer returns. See below for terms and conditions regarding subscriptions to The Stitcher’s Journal.
Address for returns where appropriate (see above): 5 PARSONAGE BUSINESS CENTRE, CHURCH STREET, TICEHURST TN5 7DL
We take great care when photographing our products to ensure the colours and textures are clearly represented. With vintage products we will describe or show any minor flaws or faults.
THE STITCHER’S JOURNAL
The annual subscription is non-refundable. This is because the overall price is based on committing to suppliers for the whole year, allowing us to keep the price as low as possible. You may have a credit note or transfer the subscription to someone else and send us new address details.
COPYRIGHT
I like to share such skills and techniques as I can offer generously, without feeling inhibited by the thought that students will subsequently produce work for sale that is uncomfortably similar to mine. Sometimes the idea is the skill, not the creation of it, and when that is used without permission, it is very upsetting, especially if the person has not been open about the fact they are a professional or would-be professional maker when booking the place.
Before booking a workshop, please note that any templates and designs are my copyright and may not be reproduced on a commercial basis without my permission. This includes sales arising from ad hoc postings on instagram. Equally, if completed work using my designs, even for personal use, is reproduced on instagram or social media channels, I would expect at the very least a credit for the workshop.
