Additional Information
This was the first embroidery kit in the series accompanying the first eight issues of The Stitcher’s Journal. It is the kit I am most often asked to reproduce. As a pattern, it offers a lot of scope for your own interpretation in the way you fill the bowls with flowers. The images left, some from @jannelford on Instagram may offer some inspiration. There are also little sketches of different flowering bulbs in the comprehensive instructions. The threads used here are included in the instructions but you may, of course, choose to use your own colours. Similarly, you could simply stitch over the flowers in the pelmet and make the pelmet plain.
