Hand Embroidery Kits

“Caroline’s kits have a very special quality that makes bringing them to life quite magical”

I was very touched to read this comment on Instagram. Embroidery should be fun and relaxing, and stir our creative instincts. Nearly all of my kit designs start as ideas in my head, and are designed so that stitchers of every level can enjoy working them, even if they appear, at first glance, to be quite intricate. I write my instructions as though I am addressing a novice stitcher, and I use a fairly small range of stitches, preferring to use these to create interesting textures, rather than using more complicated decorative stitches.  I also love to include opportunities for stitchers to add their own personal touches to the designs if they want to.

Happy New Year!

Just to confirm that all shipping to the US is now sorted and working very efficiently…for now, at any rate!

I am also delighted to announce that we can now send The Stitcher’s Journal to certain EU countries. Please note this ONLY applies to The Stitcher’s Journal.  I hope we will soon be able to send embroidery kits as well but in the meantime I am expanding our range of downloadable patterns.

Issue 28 will be out in early March. Many people ordered Issue 27 as a one-off so if it has made you. want to subscribe, your subscription will start with Issue 28.

There will be a short ‘Stitch this winter for next Christmas’ sale on the website starting ON TUESDAY 27TH  January, with my Christmas kits nd a few others at reduced prices. Moist of these will not be repeated so I can make room for new kits throughout this year.

Not in the sale will be some one-off Christmas designs printed onto antique linen sheet tops. These include my Christmas wreath and garland designs and will make unique hangings and banners to work on for next Christmas. Am, also stocking up The Rummage Room. It all takes time to prepare and photograph and the weather has been so grisly for photography but I hoope to get these on the website later this week. If you are interested in these, let me know and I will make sure I send an email to you with notice of when I am going to publish them, as they are limited in number and each is unique.

With very best wishes,

Caroline
