Hand Embroidery Kits

“Caroline’s kits have a very special quality that makes bringing them to life quite magical”

I was very touched to read this comment on Instagram. Embroidery should be fun and relaxing, and stir our creative instincts. Nearly all of my kit designs start as ideas in my head, and are designed so that stitchers of every level can enjoy working them, even if they appear, at first glance, to be quite intricate. I write my instructions as though I am addressing a novice stitcher, and I use a fairly small range of stitches, preferring to use these to create interesting textures, rather than using more complicated decorative stitches.  I also love to include opportunities for stitchers to add their own personal touches to the designs if they want to.

PLEASE NOTE

Update for ALL customers

8 December 2025

Just a little update.

We ship to the US, duty paid, by us. The postage has gone up a bit because we have to use a new system.

Issue 27 of The Stitcher’s Journal will be despatched early next week. I am just working on the last tweaks now.

As soon as it has gone to print I shall be launching a new embroidery kit to enjoy through the twelve days, and my Christmas Inspiration bundles – bundles of linen printed with Christmas foliage and motifs, interleaved with a few surprises. We will be posting these out next week as well.

If you are thinking of subscribing to The Stitcher’s Journal and want to try a copy, you can pre-order Issue 27. As with all the Journals, I only print for subscribers plus a few extras.  Issue 27 has two inserts with Christmas embroidery ideas and patterns.

We will be posting by Tracked 24 hour post (UK only) up to 4pm on Friday, 19th December, and we aim to post out on the day of ordering.

Thank you so much as ever for your support.

With very best wishes,

Caroline
