THE STITCHER’S JOURNAL 2025 SUBSCRIPTION (UK ONLY)

(1 customer review)

£110.00

It is hard to believe that we are about to end the sixth year of  The Stitcher’s Journal, currently a quarterly print publication, celebrating the art of embroidery.

Each self-funded (no advertising) issue contains sixty-four pages of content devoted to the story of embroidery and the work of embroiderers past and present, as well as articles about different sources of inspiration for the embroiderer. It has been tremendous fun to dream up and create each issue, exploring the ever-fascinating story of stitch. The Journal is unique in also celebrating embroidery by those who may not earn their living from it but who create beautiful work nonetheless.

  • Each issue is accompanied by an A3 foldout, the contents of which may vary between inspiration from the archive and a stitching pattern idea.
  • NEW for 2025 is an online Creative Notebook, an exclusive, password-protected area on my NEW website, which will launch in the week of 15 January, 2025. Here I plan to share snippets from my workroom table, swatches of antique fabrics, mood boards and creative ideas. I hope it will become one of your go-to places when you need some inspiration or just want to browse through some galleries.

The Early Bird Discount of 10%  applies to all subscriptions taken out before midnight on 31 January. Enter EARLYBIRD2025 at the checkout to receive the 10% discount on the subscription. Early bird subscribers also receive a 10%  discount on embroidery kits throughout the period of their subscription for which a coupon code will be sent with your order confirmation.

Please note that by subscribing in advance you are also helping me to secure the best price by maintaining a higher circulation, as I only print to the numbers of subscribers. Occasionally we have a few overruns, but the only way to be sure of receiving a copy of each issue is to subscribe.

Not having advertising means that the Journal has to fund itself. Please note that the price of £110 includes £15 of postage to send each of the issues by First Class post to all areas of the United Kingdom. I absorbed the postage increases in 2023 but cannot continue to do so in 2024, hence the £5 increase on last year’s price.

Giving a subscription as a gift? Let us know in the comments box if you would like us to send an email or gift card to the recipient to let them know. NEW subscribers who have not subscribed in 2024 will start their subscription with Issue 24 in January. For 2024 subscribers, you will receive Issue 24 in January, completing your 2024 subscription, and your 2025 subscription will commence with Issue 25 which is coming out at the end of March, full of Spring and Easter.

I can’t apologise for the price because I know how much it costs to produce: but if it is a stretch all in one go, I do recommend Paypal’s interest-free Pay in Three.  Paypal is my business gateway and I have found them to be first class over the past fifteen years. You do not need to have a Paypal account.  Please note that if you do take advantage of this, I do not know: it is entirely between yourself and Paypal.

A few encouraging comments from subscribers – you know who you are, thank you!

Thank you so much Caroline for offering your wonderful embroidery publication again. I can’t imagine the amount of work that goes into this charming magazine. Just placed my order for this year and can’t wait for the final edition from last year. Hope your new year brings joy and inspiration to you as you do for me through each page you lovingly produce. Kind regards, Peggy
