This is a re-issue of a 2020 kit, previously available exclusively to subscribers. However, as so many people have written to ask if I would re-issue it, I assume it is because we all hold memories of our mothers or grandmothers at the washing line.  The completed image, inspired by a poem by Susan Hatt which is included in the kit, is just shy of  A4 landscape. It is my largest kit and contains a printed thread card loaded with some twenty gorgeous colours; a generous piece of antique linen printed with the design; clear, step-by-step instructions, and a separate A4 sheet with the entire stitched image and the drawing with a thread key. A PDF of my Favourite Stitches, including all those used in this kit, is available to download free of charge from the Home Page.

This kit is actually quite simple to stitch, it just takes some time. The painting is neither difficult nor obligatory, and a free pdf download is available from the website with tips to help you with painting on linen.

The price includes postage and packing to all parts of the regions listed, including New Zealand. We track orders over £100 free of charge, but if you are concerned about Tracking, please purchase an extra Tracking voucher. However, we rarely lose things: tracking doesn’t speed things up, it just means we can follow the progress of the parcel. If you live off the beaten track or have problems with your post, it may be worth it. Otherwise, normal International First Class will get it to you and the post is getting a bit faster now that there are more flights.
