White Narcissi: A Stitcher’s Journal Collection embroidery kit (UK)
White narcissi are my winter cheer. Planted in an old French bowl on my kitchen windowsill, the purity of white somehow suits these bleaker late-winter months, before the more familiar yellow trumpets start to blaze.
This kit was part of my Stitcher’s Journal collection and was originally available only to subscribers in 2020. Completed, it looks really rather lovely framed, especially if you can find one of those old French painted frames. The design is printed on antique French linen. Please note that the ‘shelf trim’ is not included, but the idea can be recreated with lace or broderie edging.
The image is just bigger than A5 portrait, and the kit contains carefully produced, clear and comprehensive instructions as well as all the threads you will need.
On the home page of the website you can download a PDF of my Favourite Stitches. I was so pleased and impressed by the number of inexperienced and novice stitchers who managed this kit during the first Lockdown of 2020. It may look daunting but in fact it is s actually quite simple to stitch.
The price, which reflects the fact that The Stitcher’s Journal Collection kits are bigger and use more thread, includes postage and packing to all parts of the United Kingdom. Please note that we do not track orders, but tracking can be purchased separately.
We try to post orders either on the same day or next working day at the latest, depending on when the order comes in.
