A smaller version (6″ diameter) of my very large autumn wreath, produced for a ‘paint into stitch’ workshop at The Country Brocante in 2022 at Daylesford Farm. I discovered just a handful remaining during the great workshop clearout of 2024! You do not need to do any painting!

The mini-kit includes an actual size pattern which you can trace as it is, or enlarge it and then trace-transfer it onto fabric using a lightbox or DMC’s magic soluble paper.

In the product gallery you will see two versions stitched by @mcdonoughmelanie, who attended the workshop and stitched them in different colour palettes subsequently. I love it when people add their own details, such as in her ‘frosted’ Christmas version. The last two images are my own pale version.

The kit includes

• a piece of beautfully textured antique French linen with the design printed on it
• a card with the design and indications of which stitch to use for each element. Please note that as this was a workshop kit, there are no specific instructions, so this is probably not a good kit for a beginner unfamiliar with the stitches mentioned.
• a fully loaded thread card
• a pattern which you can re-use by using various transfer methods.

This would be a lovely simple stitch and you could add text in the middle.
